Kabu Collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop

When I received a flier in the mail announcing the new Kabu collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop I dropped what I was doing and ran out to check it out!

Kabu Collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop

There are 3 super cute characters: Catlynn – the pink kitty, Pawlette – the light brown bunny and Bearnice the yellow bear. All three are cuddly and made of soft material.

Kabu Collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop

The Kabu line has loads of adorable accessories for the plushies and for yourself. My favorite is the little fluffy cotton candy wrist strap. It attaches via a stretchy cord for your plushie to grab onto. There are even shoes to match!

Kabu Collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop

You can’t have a naked plushie! This 2-piece set featuring a sparkling Catlynn will make you wish it came in your size!

Kabu Collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop

This pouch could hold change, a compact and a lip gloss perfectly. The charm zipper pull is a nice touch.

Kabu Collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop

There is even a graphic novel and a free game for iPhone & Android. The graphics are really bright and make me smile. I am hoping they will release more characters in the future!

Kabu Collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop

You can find the Kabu collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores worldwide and online.

Recent Kawaii YouTube Favourites

Now that the SCK YouTube playlists are all organised, I’ve been checking my subscriptions and recommendations more often to find new things to share. Here’s a few videos I’ve added recently if you’re at a loose end.

I always enjoy watching Maqaroon‘s craft videos as they’re always so cute and clever. This unicorn sock plush is adorable and also has a colour-changing mane and tail, thanks to UV powder! It’s not too tricky to make either.

As a huge San-X fan, I am always excited to see what’s coming up next. They recently announced a new character, Funwari Necolon – a very fluffy perfumed cat. You might be wondering if we really need yet another kawaii cat character but watch the video and I think you’ll find her hard to resist.

For those of us who can’t afford the Pusheen Box, I recommend TheHollycopter, who always shares unboxings. The Summer box had a lot of cute things inside!

Becky of The Pink Samurai must have the biggest, most kawaii enamel pin collection in the world! She’s been sharing some cute videos of her pin buys and also has a series of how to design and manufacture your own pins with loads of great tips and advice.

Princess Peachie had a dream trip to Japan this summer and will be sharing a whole series of videos soon. Judging by this trailer, it will be a lot of fun to watch.

Kawaii Gudetama Picks

We haven’t caught up with Gudetama the lazy egg recently so here’s some fun new products I’ve spotted.

Gudetama kawaii plush

GUND have started making their own licensed Gudetama plush and keychains so those of you in the USA can buy direct with free shipping. I especially like this breakfast plush with sausage.

Gudetama kawaii chocolate candy

If you’ve always wanted to eat Gudetama, now you can as Tofu Cute are stocking a range of Gudetama chocolates by Creighton’s! They’re made with high quality chocolate and have some very interesting flavours: yuzu, popping candy and bacon! There’s even a cute little white chocolate Gudetama. I think we might have to pick some of these up for a taste test. Tofu Cute ship worldwide from the UK so everyone can give it a go.

Gudetama kawaii 5th anniversary

Gudetama celebrated his 5th anniversary earlier this year and Sanrio released lots of fun products. I love all the colourful summer-themed designs, especially these plastic pouches. Many items are only available from Sanrio Japan (so you’d need to use a forwarding service) but you’ll find some at Japan LA too.

Gudetama kawaii stationery

Sanrio USA also have a good range of Gudetama, with some fun new collaborations. I was drawn to these hilarious little hanging memo notes though. Write your message inside, fold it up and he’ll hang off a cup or pencil pot. Great for leaving messages for family and workmates.

Gudetama kawaii subscription box

And if you really love Gudetama, you need to check out Gudetama Box from Rainbowholic Shop. There’s 3 different sizes of mystery boxes to choose from with a mix of plush, stationery, candy and more – and even a suitcase! Everything is chosen carefully from what’s available in Japan so you’ll often get rare or seasonal designs.

Do you love Gudetama?

Yuri!!! on Ice Kawaii Picks

Figure skating anime Yuri!!! on Ice has taken the world by storm with its gripping storyline, beautifully animated choreography and catchy theme tune — so much so that Japanese figure skaters Miu Suzaki and Ryuichi Kihara performed a routine set to music from the show in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games!

Yuri!!! on Ice

Centered around competitive Japanese figure skater Yuri Katsuki, Yuri!!! on Ice follows Yuri and his coach-turned-love interest Victor Nikiforov as he prepares to compete against teenage rival Yuri Plisetsky and others in the Grand Prix championship.

If you’re still struggling to come to terms with the end of the first season, here’s a little something to help fill the gaping Yuri-shaped hole in your heart until Yuri!!! on Ice: Ice Adolescence hits our screens in 2019.

Yuri!!! on Ice kawaii Nendoroid figures

These chibi-style Nendoroid figurines of Yuri K., Yuri P. and Victor are super kawaii, and come complete with an array of accessories, plus multiple facial expressions and hairstyles so that you can recreate your favourite scene. Get them all and more from Tokyo Otaku Mode, with shipping available worldwide.

Yuri!!! on Ice x Sanrio kawaii figures

These GOODSMILE Yuri!!! on Ice x Sanrio figurines are cuter than cute, and star Yuri K. with skating partner Pochacco, Victor with Pompompurin and a sullen-looking Yuri P. with Hello Kitty. If they’re out of stock above, try My Kombini or Hobby Search.

Yuri!!! on Ice body pillow

Hot Topic have a range of official  Yuri!!! on Ice products that ship from the USA. You can cuddle up to Victor all night long with this super snuggly body pillow featuring the Russian coach himself in full skating attire on one side, and a close-up of his blushing face on the other. Aww!

Yuri!!! on Ice wallet

My beloved My Neighbour Totoro purse may have to take an early retirement as this Yuri!!! on Ice wallet is way too cool to pass up.

Yuri!!! on Ice Makkachin kawaii gloves mittens

Part glove, part mitten, these Makkachin glomitts will not only keep your hands nice and toasty this winter, but also make them look pretty darn cute, too.

Are you a fan of Yuri!!! on Ice? Who’s your favourite character? If you haven’t watched it yet, it’s on Crunchyroll.

Aggretsuko’s New Book & More Cute Picks

Sanrio character-turned-anime Aggretsuko has been renewed for a second season on Netflix. If you’re not familiar with the show, it stars mild-mannered red panda Retsuko, who relieves her work-related frustrations with beer-fuelled, death metal karaoke sessions. Retsuko’s boss is quite literally a chauvinist pig, and her boot-licking colleagues aren’t much better, so the show follows 25-year-old Retsuko as she navigates office politics while trying to stay somewhat sane.

Aggretsuko book

Available to pre-order now, The Aggretsuko Guide to Office Life (USA / UK) is the ultimate guide to surviving office life, as told by Aggretsuko herself. She should know, after all!

  Aggretsuko kawaii backpack

Merchandise is still quite hard to find, except in the USA. Sanrio USA doesn’t ship internationally (except for Canada) but here’s some of my favourites if you’re able to buy. I already own the Hello Kitty version of this Loungefly backpack, but now there’s an Retsuko version, too! Check out her adorable li’l tail!

Aggretsuko kawaii socks

Brighten up your sock drawer with these quirky ankle socks sporting a cool, calm and collected Retsuko on one sock, and a rage-filled Aggretsuko on the other.

Aggretsuko red panda kawaii squishies

Let out your anger with these blind bag squishies. There are eight to collect in total, and each one features a different facial expression.

Aggretsuko kawaii coasters

Let your boss know how you really feel with this set of four coasters. Passive-aggressive? Moi?!

Are you a fan of Aggretsuko? How do you relieve your work-related frustrations?

Vintage Style Care Bears and My Little Pony

As a child I was very fond of everything Care Bears and My Little Pony related. Luckily these days the 80’s characters are still popular. It’s even possible to get items with the same ‘vintage’ style.

Care Bears cup

Kawaii Panda has recently stocked up on some Care Bears items, such as kitchenware and coin purses. This Cheer Bear cup is my favourite. You can use the exclusive SCK10OFF code to get a 10% discount (^_^)

Care Bears lunch box

MissMuffcake has mentioned the cute Care Bears x Pusheen collection at JapanLA before. Turns out that they also have a Care Bears tin lunch box, stickers and phone cases in stock!

Care Bears kawaii squishies

The Care Bears have even joined the squishy hype over at Modes4U. Look at all those pretty pastel colors.

My Little Pony t-shirt

‘I want a My Little Pony’ was something I might have asked my parents, as I had about 7 of them… This t-shirt would be the perfect fit for any My Little Pony fan. It’s available from a few shops around the world including Attitude and Amazon.

My Little Pony enamel pin

Interesting enough I also found a matching Starshine My Little Pony pin! This pin – along with other cute 80’s items- has been made by Candy Doll Club.

All these shops ship internationally so take a look.

If you love the vintage kawaii style of Japanese manga you need to check out this collaboration between Setsuko Tamura and Sanrio. ARTBOX have a nice range of products that feature the Japanese illustrator’s take on Hello Kitty, My Melody and Little Twin Stars.

Setsuko Tamura x Sanrio My Melody purse

I think this My Melody pouch is my favourite item. I love all the details with gingham, lace, bows, and fluffy ears and tail, plus it’s useful too.

Setsuko Tamura x Sanrio Hello Kitty purse

The Hello Kitty pouch is pretty adorable too though with all those pops of red.

Setsuko Tamura x Sanrio Little Twin Stars purse

More affordable are these super cute little plastic coin purses at just £6.50 each. Perfect for all your small change.

Setsuko Tamura x Sanrio sticker flakes

If you can’t choose a favourite, this pack of sticker flakes is a bargain at £4.50. It includes all three main characters and more icons, all in Setsuko Tamura’s cute style with fancy gold detailing.

Setsuko Tamura x Sanrio memo pad

Or this memo pad has 60 sheets in 3 different designs packed inside a cute cover. Which character is your favourite?

The Setsuko Tamura x Sanrio collection also includes tote bags, keychains, towels and more. You can buy it all from ARTBOX who are based in the UK but ship worldwide.

A Guide To Kawaii Mascots

$

0

Mascots, or Yuru-chara in Japanese, are (mostly!) cute characters who help to promote a place, organisation, business or service. They help to educate people about the region or service they represent and make it more recognisable and lovable. There are thousands of different mascots in Japan and they even have an annual competition, the Yuru-chara Grand Prix, to determine the most popular mascot! Popular kawaii characters are often made into mascots as well, for promotions and events.

Nicolette's kawaii mascot meetings

I love meeting mascots  – they’re just so cute and when I’m meeting a mascot I don’t think that there’s a person inside but that a huge cuddly toy has come to life and that’s awesome.

Famous Kawaii Mascots

Kumamon, a loveable bear character, helped to put Kumamoto prefecture on the map when he won the mascot Grand Prix in 2011. He’s now one of the most recognisable and popular mascots in Japan. Follow Kumamon on YouTube and Instagram.

Funassyi is an unofficial mascot, for Funabashi City. This hyperactive pear fairy sings and dances, has released 4 albums and also performs with a mascot band called Charamel! Follow Funassyi on YouTube and Twitter.

Chiitan is a cute otter character with a turtle for a hat. She is the mascot for Susaki City along with fellow otter Shinjokun and has become popular for her funny slapstick videos. Follow Chiitan on YouTube and Instagram.

My favourite mascots

My all-time fave is Mochi Usagi who is sadly now retired. We saw this pink bouncy bunny at Design Festa in Tokyo and after seeing him perform we had to get our photos taken with him! I also have a soft spot for Domo-kun (the mascot for NHK TV station) as I’ve met him so many times!

My favourite mascot experience was Japan Matsuri 2014 in Trafalgar Square, London with lots of mascots on stage including Gunma-chan, Sanomaru and Kumamon. It was so adorable seeing them all dancing together!

kawaii mascots

Mascots I’d like to meet

I’m hoping to meet as many different kawaii mascots as possible during our Japan trip but top of my list for this trip is Chef Pikachu. I would love to see the Pikachu Outbreak they have in Yokohama with lots of giant Pikachus but even to meet one would be a dream come true!

How do you meet mascots?

Mascots can be found outside Japan at events like comic cons, shop/cafe openings and Japan-themed events. In London, I’ve met mascots at Hyper Japan, MCM Comic Con, the ARTBOX shop and a Powerpuff Girls pop up event.

In Japan, they can appear anywhere, but often at shop events, character cafes, festivals and local town events, plus theme parks like Sanrio Puroland. If you want to know more about Japanese mascots, Mondo Mascots is a great blog and they’re on Twitter too.

Who’s your favourite mascot? Have you met any?

Kawaii Recipes by Euniee Cafe

For the longest time I thought I had a solid knowledge of all the cute food makers on YouTube. However, it seems that Euniee Cafe, a Korean channel formerly known as Snowy Winter Cafe, has somehow slipped under my radar until now! The channel offers something for everyone by featuring both basic and more advanced kawaii recipes, with no shortage of cutely decorated baked goods. I also find it incredibly helpful that the ingredients and instructions are listed in the description as well as directly in the video.

If you’re new to dessert making and looking to try out an easy recipe, there is a video that shows you how to make a very simple no-bake kawaii bear chocolate mousse that requires relatively few ingredients and one mold.

As good melon pan can be hard to find in my part of the States, I’ve been on the hunt for a recipe to try out at home—I think the super kawaii Pompompurin melon pan may fit the bill splendidly!

Purchased that mold for the no-bake chocolate mousse tutorial? She reuses it for other recipes, including her very cute Mickey and Minnie Mouse Tsum Tsum cheesecakes! Definitely adding these to the list for the next time I get a craving for cheesecake…

There are also a few adorable options for the macaron lovers out there, like her Shiba Inu macarons. I love Shiba anything, so I’m happy to see them featured on a food. They look so yummy!

I’ve never tried making steamed buns before, but I am certainly adding it on my to-do list after spotting her video on how to make Molang steam buns. I love making bread products (although sometimes they’re tricky and don’t love me!) but Molang is so cute that I can’t resist.

You can find more kawaii recipes to browse on the Euniee Cafe YouTube channel, and plenty more cute food photos on their Instagram. Which recipes would you like to try?

Esther Bunny & Esther Loves Chuu

I’ve been intrigued by a pink fluffy bunny. It took me a while to find out that her name is Esther Bunny.

Esther Bunny kawaii plush

She’s designed by Esther Kim, a Korean-American designer who spent her teenage years in Tokyo. Her Esther Bunny artwork is applied to many items including fashion accessories, apparel, cosmetics and home goods. I’m a big fan of the cute bunny plush and stickers.

Esther Bunny kawaii stickers

It’s a bit difficult to find Esther Bunny merchandise. Last year there was a Lazy Oaf collection, but that has been sold out. At the moment you can find a good selection of merchandise at the Korean shop Chuu, named as Esther Loves Chuu.

Esther Loves Chuu kawaii stickers

The Esther Loves Chuu collection brings you a plethora of pastel coloured goodies, featuring the fluffy bunny. Sweaters, loungewear, phone cases, stationery and the plushies are all part of the collection. This Chuu collection is also available at sthsweet.

Esther Loves Chuu tumblers

Esther even runs an Etsy shop, with a couple of products. Including this shy Rosebunny pin.

Rilakkuma Always Together Dress-Up Plush

We’re back from our super cute trip to Japan and will share more about that over the next few months. But first, I wanted to show you something we spent far too much money on in Japan – Rilakkuma Always Together plush.

Rilakkuma Always Together Dress-Up Plush

You choose a keyring-sized plush of Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma or Kogumachan (there’s also separate plush sets with Kiiroitori) and then there are loads of adorable little outfits you can buy to dress them up in. We very quickly got obsessed as they look so cute and you can mix and match the pieces to make new outfits.

Rilakkuma Always Together Dress-Up Plush Rilakkuma Always Together Dress-Up Plush

Look at their cosy Autumn outfits! The hats are designed with a hole for the keyring part so you can hang them on your bag without worrying about losing anything.

Rilakkuma Always Together Dress-Up Plush

We were initially sucked in by the Halloween outfits – a box of four spooky cute costumes that we could kind-of justify by splitting the cost between us and sharing them. Rilakkuma Ghost and Kogumachan Pumpkin were the cutest companions for a Halloween celebration at Universal Studios Japan. Of course, there was also a Christmas set that was impossible to resist so look out for some festive dress up photos on our Instagram next month!

Rilakkuma Always Together Dress-Up Plush

If you’d like to join in, you can order everything online from the San-X shop (using a forwarding service like Tenso). You can also find the plush on eBay and the outfits on Mochi Store (who ship worldwide from Japan). If you’re visiting Japan yourself, look for them at Kiddyland, the Rilakkuma Stores and Yamashiroya in Ueno. I apologise for all the money you’ll end up spending!

Yeastken the Cute Dog Bread

Last Summer I purchased a pack of Yeastken stickers at Kawaii Shop Japan. The design is so cute that I just had to find out more about this character.

Yeastken

According to the website Yeastken is not sure whether he’s bread dough or a dog.

Yeastken

Yeastken comes in various shapes, such as a whole bread, baguette, muffin, tear-off bread and hamburger bun. There’s also a cute corn chicken, but I’m not sure what its function is.

Yeastken

Yeastken

The official Twitter page is the best, it shows the most adorable pictures and cartoons.

Yeastken

Kamio has released a range of stationery and plush items in Japan. If you’d like to buy some of these items overseas, you’d best visit Tofu Cute (UK), eBay or CDJapan (JP). All these shops will ship worldwide. And if you use Line, you can also buy a sticker set.

Sumikko Gurashi Make Their Own Plushies

One day the dinosaur plush from Tokage got frayed. He was heartbroken and asked Shirokuma to stitch it back up. The end result was so pretty that the other characters wanted Shirokuma to make them a special Sumikko Gurashi plushie as well.

sumikko gurashi plush tezukuri nuigurumi

The plushies they ended up making are so cute, the are like a chibi version of the Sumikko Gurashi characters. They are called Tezukuri Nuigurumi, meaning ‘handmade stuffed toys’ in English. Penguin made himself a pickle, which sadly isn’t available for sale. You can however get the dino, bear and cat plush.

Together with the kawaii plushies a matching stationery line was released. You can find them at AmiAmi, Mochi Store and JanetStore. These shops are from Asia, but they ship worldwide.

Good news for Pusheen fans in Singapore – and a lot of envy for the rest of us! – as the very first Pusheen Cafe is now open.

Pusheen Cafe at Kumoya Singapore

It’s happening at Kumoya Singapore, who have previously hosted popup cafes for My Little Pony, Miffy and Cinnamoroll. The Pusheen Cafe is as adorable as you could dream – just look at the interior! There will be exclusive merchandise available to buy too.

Pusheen Cafe at Kumoya Singapore

Of course, the food and drinks are super kawaii too – and created by Little Miss Bento.

Pusheen Cafe at Kumoya Singapore

There’s a bit of a magical/dream theme running through the menu, which fits with Pusheen’s favourite activities.

Pusheen Cafe at Kumoya Singapore

My favourite dish is this dessert plate which looks like a burger and fries!

Pusheen Cafe at Kumoya Singapore

The drinks look adorable too, including this pink fluffy dream of a peach soda. You can see the full menu here.

Pusheen Cafe at Kumoya Singapore

The Pusheen Cafe is open until March so there’s plenty time to plan a visit if you have the opportunity. If you do make it, we’d love to see your photos – tag @sckawaii on Instagram, Faceboook or Twitter.

PS. We’ve also chosen our giveaway winner – congratulations to Kaitlyn K! We’ve sent you an email – if you don’t get it, contact us.

Sumi Sumi San-X Puzzle Game

$

Lately I’ve been addicted to a new puzzle game from San-X, called Sumi Sumi. In it both old and new San-X characters make their appearance, such as Sumikko Gurashi, Rilakkuma and Kogepan.

Sumi Sumi San-X Puzzle Game

The aim of the game is to clear as many Sumi as possible by matching the same ones. But you also have to complete special missions, such as placing a certain Sumi in the corner or to clear sweet bakes.

Sumi Sumi San-X Puzzle Game

On the top left you’ll see a balloon with the amount of moves that you get to make. Not to be confused with seconds, as I might have done for the first 30 levels… You can take all the time you want to clear a level. At the Gashapon machine you get to draw Sumi who will give you special options in the game and will bring you gifts.

Sumi Sumi San-X Puzzle Game

Don’t let the cute images fool you. The gameplay might seem simple, but once you get further into the game, you have to think more strategic. Not only do you have to clear the Sumi Sumi, you also have to find a way to clear macaroons, puddings and other sweets. This is done by linking as many Sumi as possible to create special drums. Try to save up on diamonds, you might need them to ‘purchase’ drums to clear difficult to reach places.

Sumi Sumi San-X Puzzle Game

I still really enjoy the game and hope you’ll give it a try as well. You can download the English version for free at Google Play or iTunes. There are in app purchases, but you can play without spending money. My friend code is JPIHTM (nickname kaoani) – feel free to befriend me and/or leave your code in the comments.

Sumikko Gurashi Cat Siblings

There’s a new Sumikko Gurashi collection and cat fans will be happy to see it features Neko. I’ve always thought Neko was the least-developed main character so it’s good to find out a bit more of his back story.

As you can see in the video, the gang bump into some cats in the forest and Neko has a flashback to his adorable kitten childhood and realises they’re his siblings!

Sumikko Gurashi cats

It seems Neko was a greedy kitten and used to eat more than his share of food but they all bond a bit and have some fish biscuits.

Sumikko Gurashi cats pillow

As always you can download free wallpapers for your phone and computer and there’s some super cute new products. How fun is this squishy triple plush pillow?

Sumikko Gurashi cats mini plush

It’s going to be hard for me to resist adding to my tiny plush collection, especially the adorable little sunflower and bee Tapiocas.

Sumikko Gurashi cats plush dish

The plush multi tray is also amazing.

Sumikko Gurashi cats teapot and tea set

There’s even a teapot and mugs, plus bags, pouches, towels and more. Everything just went on sale at the San-X shop yesterday but some things are already selling out so be quick if you want something.

You’ll need to use a forwarding service like Tenso to order outside Japan but it’s quite easy. Some items are also available from Amazon Japan where some sellers will ship internationally.

Kawaii Cat Characters For Cat Week

This Friday is Cat Day (Neko no Hi) in Japan so we’ve decided to celebrate with a whole week of cute cat-themed posts! To start off Cat Week, I’m sharing some products from my wish list with my favourite kawaii cat characters.

pusheen funko pop figures

Pusheen is definitely my favourite kawaii cat and she has a new collaboration with Funko Pop vinyl figures. I’ve always found Funko figures to be a bit creepy but these are kind of changing my mind. There’s a whole series to collect including Pusheenicorn, Dragonsheen and, my favourite, angry Pusheenosaurus! They’re available for pre-order from lots of places including Pop in a Box and Amazon (USA / UK).

hello kitty x converse shoes

Hello Kitty may not win the character rankings any more but she’s got the most friends. The Converse x Hello Kitty collection is back in stock with some super cute shoes and fun clothing. Check it all out at Converse or Sanrio USA.

My Neighbour Totoro was one of my introductions to kawaii and I will always hope to get a ride on the Catbus some day (I waited at the bus stop in Japan but no luck). Until then, I can make do with this adorable Catbus & Totoro plush set from JapanLA (USA).

corocorocoronya kawaii cat pouch

I love following Corocorocoronya’s adventures on Instagram but San-X’s bakery cats don’t get many new products. I still want everything though including this mini pouch.

fuku fuku nyanko kawaii cat cables

I’ve mentioned the Fuku Fuku Nyanko cats before on SCK – they’re one of my favourite finds in Japan. They’re created by the HAPiNS/Passport stores so difficult to find outside Japan but you can follow them on Instagram to see all the cute new products. I really want these cat-patterned phone cables with matching cable tidy.

Who are your favourite kawaii cat characters?

tokidoki is one of our favourite kawaii brands as they’re always coming up with new patterns, products and collaborations. Here’s a few recent things you might have missed, and where to buy.

tokidoki Supermarket Besties blind box figures

tokidoki blind boxes are always hard to resist and the new Supermarket Besties are sure to tempt you. There’s 10 figures to collect and they even come package inside little noodle cups. Get them online from tokidoki, Hot Topic and JapanLA (all USA) or Collect & Display (UK)

tokidoki watercolor paradise kawaii bag

tokidoki’s latest bag collection is called Watercolor Paradise and is making me dream about summer. It features Unicornos and Mermicornos on a ocean-coloured painted background. If you can’t afford a bag, there are smaller accessories like a coin purse, wallet and luggage tag.

tokidoki x Gudetama tote bag

Gudetama has been teaming up with the tokidoki characters for a new collection at Sanrio USA including tote bag, mug and wallet. I really love the colour scheme and of course it has a food theme!

tokidoki x hello kitty tshirt

JapanLA (USA) also have some Sanrio x tokidoki clothing in stock with Hello Kitty and Gudetama. How sweet is this ice cream t-shirt?

tokidoki moofia kawaii travel cups

Those of us in the EU can pick up some cute new tokidoki goodies at Kawaii Panda including bento boxes, powerbank and earphones. These Moofia travel mugs are a kawaii choice for anyone going dairy-free.

Who’s your favourite tokidoki character? I find it so hard to decide!

I love this time of year as there are cute bunnies everywhere. Even Rilakkuma has been making some bunny friends in the new collection for San-X.

I really love bunnies and Rilakkuma so I cannot deny that this video actually made me cry a little – it’s all so cute!

Of course there are some new plushies. Look at Kogumachan’s bunny bag – I want one of those.

Rilakkuma Easter Bunny plush

This limited Rilakkuma plush is really living my dream – bunny friend, bunny ears, fluffy pants. What more could you want?

Rilakkuma Easter Bunnies stationery

There’s lots more affordable items too including stationery, hand towels, coasters and keyrings. I hear a rumour that I’ll be getting these sticky notes for my birthday.

Rilakkuma Easter Egg Magnets

These pop-up Easter egg magnets are amazing but sadly not available online – hopefully they’ll turn up soon.

Rilakkuma Easter Bunnies

There’s also some free downloads including phone wallpapers and Facebook/Twitter images. Look out for lots of cute new photos on the official Rilakkuma Instagram too.

Rilakkuma Easter Bunnies

Most of the collection went on sale at the weekend and is already starting to sell out. It’s unlikely much of this will be for sale outside of Japan so you’ll need to order directly from San-X using a forwarding service like Tenso. Otherwise, keep your eye on eBay and Amazon Japan for direct international shipping.

You can always rely on Pusheen to be doing something cute and she has two super fun new collections out now. Links are to Pusheen’s official US store Hey Chickadee but I’ve included some shops worldwide at the end.

Dinosheen Surprise Plush

The newest blind box plushies feature Pusheen as a whole museum full of dinosaurs in cute pastel colours. I’m so in love with the Triceratops! For extra special fun, they’re even packaged inside a plastic dino egg. Any guesses for the mystery rare dino? We don’t even get a silhouette clue this time.

Kawaii Pusheen Pusheenosaurus plush

Pusheenosaurus Collection
